We are opening a brand new facility on the edge of Whiteabbey village, close to the loughshore  In this new facility we aim to do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the people we support.  Their needs vary, however they primarily require support with learning disability, austim, mental health and medical needs.  As a team we aim to be focused on building positive outcomes for everyone that uses our services.

Job Advert Role Description

This is a primarily autonomous role in which you will be supported by a part time kitchen assistant.  The chef will be responsible for the purchasing of food and preparation of meals and will have involvement in the menu plans for the service users.

The post holder must have experence in making meals to suit the needs of service users and in particular those with particular dietary requirements.  The post holder must be an experienced cook and must be able to demonstrate that they have an understanding of the relevant health and safety legislation, food hygiene standards and can complete paperwork associated with the role.
