Job Advert Role Description

Priory Lakeside View are recruiting for a Cook / Chef to join their team.

Lakeside View is a 28 bedded hospital in Willenhall that cares for patients who are 18 years and over in an acute setting.

The role includes;

  • Actively involved in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages as well as  supervising the work of catering support staff and ensuring operational standards comply  with the company’s catering policies, guidelines, and statutory regulations.
  • Ensures that stock ordering and rotation is organised in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensures the effective and efficient planning and delivery of all aspects of food preparation and cooking, taking account of dietary and nutritional requirements within the unit.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • NVQ2 or equivalent or Qualified By Experience in Catering together with a basic qualification in food hygiene.
