Manchester Wellbeing Centre is a one of our most established wellbeing centres, opening in 2016 and working as part of The Priory Group's Private Healthcare division.

Open 8am till 8pm Monday to Friday, the clinic boasts 7 consulting rooms and 1 group therapy room offering a range of outpatient services to our clients in the Manchester and North West area.

Our team of therapists, psychologists and consultant psychiatrists allow us to offer a multidisciplinary approach for our clients ensuring a high standard of care. Our goal is to always treat the individual and ensure we support our clients on their personal journey.


We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our management team. The primary function of this role is to manage the site's administration team and all day to day activities associated with it. This includes, but is not limited to, diary management, billing, handling referrals, customer service including handling complaints, managing waiting list, responding to internal and external communication, billing, chasing debts and petty cash.


This is a demanding and challenging role that requires someone who thrives under pressure, who has an eye for detail and strong organisational skills. The successful applicant will have excellent computer, inter-personal and problem solving skills; as well as outstanding communication skills both written and verbal. You will need previous experience in a customer facing administrative role in a Healthcare environment where there is a high level of oversight, scrutiny and monitoring of quality and governance standards. Management experience is also essential as the role includes line management of the administrators on site.


Reporting to the Wellbeing Centre Manager, the Deputy Manager will also be expected to support and provide cover for site management where required.


This role is 9-5pm however, the Wellbeing Centre is open 08.00 to 20.00 hours, therefore there could be some flexibility in terms of working hours as well as occasional Saturday cover required.
