An exciting opportunity for a HR- Business Partner to join great team , this role is a 10 months Maternity leave cover starting end of August 2022.

Job Advert Location Description

The HR Business Partner will report to the HR Director with a strong dotted line to the Regional Managing Director, creating a true partnership with the Regional Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for managing a Regional HR Advisor.

The post holder is responsible for implementing the HR strategy for the region with particular focus on retention, employee engagement, talent and performance management. The post holder will lead and manage a Regional HR Advisor who focus on employee relations. Applicants must reside within the South East Region ranging from Derbyshire to Kent. 

Job Advert Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key role within the division as the HR Business Partner for the region, working closely with the Regional SLT and HR colleagues in other regions and divisions
  • Lead, manage and develop the Regional HR Advisor
  • Lead on projects to drive colleague engagement and retention across the region and division including  the Your Say Forum, Colleague Engagement surveys and other initiatives
  • Key member of the Regional SLT, act as a supporter, trusted advisor and challenger
  • Analyse data and use to inform and drive local site, regional and divisional initiatives in recruitment, processes, retention and engagement
  • Partner with SLT on talent mapping and succession planning for regional management teams
  • Build close relationships with the key internal stakeholders including the Central People Teams
  • Provide guidance to Regional HR Advisor and SLTs on complex employee relations cases/ET and liaise with the Legal team as appropriate
  • Involvement in all senior management recruitment
  • Works with the MD and the senior management team across the region to develop a strategic people agenda which aligns with and supports the broader operational agenda
  • Attendance at monthly regional business reviews, monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings and other meetings as determined by the HR Director/MD
  • Ad hoc project work to support organisational priorities
  • Provide advice, guidance and specialist input on change management initiatives including organisational restructures, mergers and acquisitions, TUPE transfers, and contract and tender bids
  • Support the effective induction, coaching, training and development of site leaders
  • Input into the development of relevant Group policies and procedures
  • Be a communication ambassador for the region and cascade key initiatives.
