Job Advert Role Description

The role will be to cover reception and carry out administration tasks during the core hours of 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday on an 'as required' basis. 

You will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the hospital, receive all telephone calls for the unit, and action them accordingly. You will coordinate the diary for vehicle bookings and meeting room bookings and deal with all deliveries in a timely and appropriate manner. You will receive the mail for the unit, and distribute it accordingly, process the outgoing mail and undertake any other tasks associated with the role.

Experience in a similar role would be advantageous. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be organised and able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.

Kemple View is a hospital with 6 wards including Low Secure and Locked Rehab for male service users only.

Many of our patients have previously been in high, medium or low security. We aim to work collaboratively with our patients enabling them to take increasing responsibility for managing their own risks leading to a controlled and graded discharge. Where a patient requires greatest support we offer contextual risk management, enhancing compliance and aim to improve their quality of life. We serve the patient, carers and visitors.

Kemple View also has a dedicated and purpose-built ward offering Low Secure Forensic Specialist Older Age service for patients over the age of 50.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic Admin team within a CQC rated OUTSTANDING hospital.

•            Computer literate in Microsoft Office

•            Have excellent communication skills

•            Self-motivated and excellent customer service skills

Knowledge of mental health is desirable but not essential as training will be provided Previous reception experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be joining a multi-award winning team at Kemple View. CQC visit 2019

The hospital Director nominated the working well group for the “Best Well-being and Staff Engagement Initiative”. The team were short listed and 10 employees travelled to London for the Awards evening. The team didn't win but it was an amazing recognition. Site of the Year 2019
