We are seeking an experienced BABCP Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) to join our dynamic and enthusiastic Obsessional Disorders specialist service.
Located in a secluded part of Southgate, North London, and set in several acres of private grounds, Priory Hospital North London is a specialist obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) treatment centre, offering intensive treatment programmes for adolescents and adults with OCD and other related disorder such as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), health anxiety, or a specific fear of vomiting (SPOV).
We also host a specialised service for severe and treatment-resistant OCD and BDD, in partnership with the NHS.
The role involves leading a team of therapists and therapy assistants in delivering the treatment programme to our service users. You will work alongside and receive supervision from the OCD Specialist Psychiatrist and the Therapy Service Lead.
You will also carry a case load of patients presenting with OCD and deliver 1-1 and group treatment within an inpatient setting.
Applicants will be required to
• Engage patients on the unit in therapeutic and meaningful interventions
• have good personal organisational skills and a commitment to ongoing learning
• Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards specifically regarding risk assessment.
• Demonstrate a robust ability to work in a high intensity/risk environment.
• Provide excellent oral and written communication and possess exceptional organisational skills.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of CBT interventions
• Support and assist the team with applying the treatment programmes
• Attend CPA meetings 
• Facilitate group activities and assisting with planning & organisation
