Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of Mental Health issues both as inpatients, day patients and outpatients.

 

The hospital specialises in providing treatment to patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues, and also has a specialist Eating Disorders Unit. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

 

We are looking for a motivated sessional therapist to support the service in the delivery of individual therapy to outpatients with a wide range of adult mental health issues.

 

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with a range of adult mental health issues, ideally with CBT, CBT-e, DBT or EMDR skills. The role will involve the provision of therapy to outpatients who require therapeutic intervention and a good knowledge of CBT, risk assessments, and risk management is essential.

 

The successful candidate will hold a qualification in a relevant therapeutic modality, together with relevant accreditation with a professional organisation, such as the BACP, BABCP, UKCP, or HCPC.
