Job Advert Role Description

Mildmay Oaks is a low secure and locked rehabilitation service for men with learning disability and autism spectrum disorder, and for women with learning disability.

Operating regular kitchen cleaning on a day-to-day schedule basis

Preparing fresh food for the times of service

Running the kitchen in absence of the catering supervisor

Being responsible for correct washing/cleaning and storage procedures for kitchen utensils, restaurant plates, and cutlery

Preparing food and desserts for the main meals at lunch and tea time

Placing orders with suppliers

Being responsible for dishwashing machine in regard to cleaning and correct operation

Maintaining a professional approach at all times, conducting yourself in a smart, clean, hygienic and orderly manner

Maintaining flexible working hours at all times

Maintaining health and safety at work practices at all times

Assisting in basic food preparation, e.g. salads, sandwiches, vegetables

Following specification files and understanding measurements

Accepting deliveries, monitoring inventory and rotating stock
