Job Advert Role Description

The main purpose of this role is to process all patient related paperwork and administration, as well as using a variety of internal systems to ensure that all necessary funding is in place for the duration of the individual’s care.

 

The role holder handles all external and internal admissions enquiries, directing queries as appropriate and will update update patient details within Priory database systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy of all data input.

 

The role holder must possess excellent communication skills as they will liaise with key unit personnel, external organisations and patients and their relatives regarding admissions' enquires.

 

The role holder will also ensure the integrity, probity and reasonableness of local financial controls in respect of the admissions processes, in order to minimise financial risk via the correct implantation of local procedures.

 

Candidates will have experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical or other appropriate background and have the ability to organise and prioritise their own work within established procedures.  They will be familiar with working in an environment where security, confidentiality, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is key to their role.
