Job Advert Location Description

Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, Priory Hospital Chelmsford is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with a range of mental health problems.  There is a highly experienced team of mental health professionals and support staff, which include consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and therapists.
 
The hospital offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 60 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services, including separate facilities for young people.
 
We provide expert treatment for the following services:

• Eating disorders
• Child and Adolescent Mental Health
• Addiction services

 

Job Advert Role Description

As housekeeper you will be in charge of undertaking cleaning duties across the site ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & safety Regulations.  Duties will include:

• Comprehensive cleaning (washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, dusting etc..) ensuring the service meets high standards of Hygiene and cleanliness. 
• Reporting any maintenance issues (damages, faults) to management teams
• To organise and assist with laundry duties
• Assist with ordering of cleaning supplies
• Using and storing of cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations
• Cleanliness and hygiene is a vital part of any CQC inspection, therefore the role of housekeeper is a key support service of the site. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with great attention to detail who can assist with cleaning our site to an excellent standard.
• As a Bank Housekeeper, you will be covering annual leave or absences of regular staff. Please note, that as this is a Bank vacancy, you will initially be inducted more or less full time for around a month or so until you are competent within the role. After you have successfully passed this, you will be contacted as and when required by the Housekeeping Manager.
