Job Advert Role Description

Priory Healthcare has opened a new hospital set in the beautiful surroundings of Lickey Hills, to the south of Birmingham.  The hospital provides services for both NHS and private patients, with a range of mental health conditions.
The service comprises of 3 wards: a 10-bed adult Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (for adult men), a 12 bed adult Acute ward and a 12 bed Private Acute ward.  The service will take a multi-disciplinary approach to delivering personalised treatment programmes to our in-patients as well as offering a Private Outpatient service.

We are looking to recruit Bank Catering Assistant to carry out food preparation, light cleaning duties and washing up.  The main duties of this role is to assist our service users with breakfast, lunch and dinner.  

As part of the catering team, the role holder be required to assist with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures and ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures.

• An appreciation of basic food hygiene

• Previous experience in Catering is ideal but not essential
