The Priory Hospital – Altrincham is part of the Priory Group, Europe’s leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health.  The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services.  The hospital has residential facilities for 56 patients as well as day care and outpatient services.

Job Advert Role Description

Due to further development within Therapy Services at The Priory Hospital Altrincham, we are looking to recruit CBT therapists on a sessional basis. 

You will be: 
• Interested in dynamic short-term therapy with insightful clients who are motivated to change
• Have at least three years experience in the area of Adult Mental Health 
• Skilled in the facilitation of a range of group interventions.  
• Experienced, qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (Diploma level) and will be accredited with BABCP/BACP 
As a sessional therapist you will be self-employed and paid on an hourly basis.  You will be fully insured and responsible for your own clinical supervision and CPD requirements.  
 
You will be expected to follow Priory’s policies and procedures and work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure appropriate and effective patient care.
