Priory Hospital Norwich is our new acute service which was opened in June 2020. In last 18 months we have invested heavily in Priory Hospital Norwich in order to revitalise or service and ensure that we put our patients at the centre of everything we do. We are currently in the process of a phased opening and are looking for candidates who are committed to being a part of our long term journey.

 

Job Advert Role Description



An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the busy Administration Team. Reporting to the Support Service's Manager and working closely with HR Advisor we are looking for a candidate who is able to maintain a “can do” attitude even when working to tight deadlines.


Key duties include:


1. In liaison with colleagues, ensures that all employee related data is correctly loaded into the Priory Payroll System, and that all necessary amendments have been completed by the payroll cut-off date. 
2. Ensures the integrity, probity and reasonableness of local financial controls in respect of the payroll, in order to minimise financial risk via the correct implementation of local procedures and policies.
 3. Responsible for ensuring that all payslips and associated documentation are produced, and then received by employees in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Answers employees’ queries in respect of payroll, referring any complex issues to the appropriate level / manager. Also answers queries from third parties, such as Pension Provider, Inland Revenue as appropriate. 
5. Ensures that all documentation is correctly filed, in order that financial auditors can be satisfied in their audit, via the efficient recovery of key documents of initial entry.An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join the busy Administration Team at Priory Hospital Norwich. As a Payroll and Administration Assistant you will be responsible for processing monthly and weekly payroll using Priory System and providing efficient, professional and effective administrative and secretarial support within the hospital. 
6. Assist Administrator in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the home, including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate. 
7. Handles external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation. Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service. 
8. Ensures that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met. Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required. 
9. Assists in updating staff and resident records and central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input. 
10. Ensures the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.
