Bannview House is a modern, purpose built nursing home, in Banbridge supporting up to 80 older people. The home is designed with comfortable lounge and dining areas and a fabulous arts and activities room. Many rooms in the home have fantastic views of the rural countryside and the attractive enclosed gardens and patio provide residents with a safe and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Job Advert Role Description

The Unit Manager should be a registered nurse with a live NMC pin.  They should be committed to the delivery of care of our service users within Bannview; have a person centred focus; knowledge and experience of the regulatory standards; the ability to use initiative; excellent communication skills; and be committed to quality assurance. The Unit Manager will be heading up a unit with over 30 residents and be able to support their staff team in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care whilst ensuring the service is well-led.  They will be responsible for auditing and monitoring of the unit whilst following robust systems and processes.

Working alongside the Home Manager the successful candidate will be required to line manage a team of staff and have knowledge, understanding and experience of relevant legislation ensuring they comply with the requirements of CQC and other statutory regulators. As Unit Manager you will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents and manage the Service to the highest standards, ensuring the people who use our services can be supported to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.
