Support worker – Supported living

Are you a passionate support worker looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Priory Adult Care is currently looking for Support Workers to join our supported living facility opening in Harrogate. This is a supported living facility for younger adults suffering from learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. It is made up of four flats, one on each floor in a converted Victorian style house. The site will be paired with residential home Aire House, also based in Harrogate, residents of the supported living flats will be regularly involved with activities and holidays taking place at Aire House.

**Great transport links to Leeds, with the No 36 bus dropping off in Harrogate every ten minutes. This is a full-time post, the site can offer both long days (8-8/9-9) shifts and shorter shifts to fit in with school hours (10-3, 6-10pm).**

As a support worker it will be your responsibility in supporting the residents to live as independently as possible, helping them with their day to day chores, preparing meals, personal care prompting and guiding them to make good choices in their day to day lives.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working as a support worker or Care assistant. The role comes with structured careers pathway and opportunity to progress not only at the site but within Priory Adult Care group as well.
