Job Advert - Division Information

Providing quality, inspiring innovation and  delivering value is what we set out to achieve at Priory Healthcare. Enabling our patients with mental health illness to receive a truly integrated and holistic approach to their treatment, regardless of complexity or severity, thanks to the knowledge and expertise of our multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Job Advert Location Description

Stroud Eating Disorders Service is a specialist residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young peeople and young adults (aged 13-25) suffering from eating disorders and other associated complex mental health difficulties. Althea Park House and The Anchor have 10 beds within these two homes.

We are fortunate to provide treatment and care in welcoming, homely environments, within the beautiful Stroud Valleys, in Gloucestershire.

Our therapeutic model focuses on supporting our service users to build a life outside of the confines of their eating disorder or indeed, mental illness. We work hard to support those that live in our homes, to build their own resilience, sense of self and ability to connect with the world around them.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a Dietician to work as a member of our multi-professional team, liaising closely with our service users, catering staff, and other health care professionals.

The Dietician will work within departmental guidelines and procedures with a range of activities such as recipe development and nutritional analysis, menu and meal planning, ensuring allergen compliance, recording and monitoring anthropometric measurements, and audit or research projects as required.  A vital part of this role will be meeting with service users on a regular basis to discuss their nutritional needs and weight trends, and support them with planning and adhering to their meal plans.
