Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and has 77 beds over seven wards varying from Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Huntingdon’s and Dementia.


Administrator equired to provide efficient, professional and effective administrative support within the Hospital ensuring that all core financial processes are efficiently managed, with full use of systems and within Priory’s policies.


• Ensure that all financial processes are carried cross site efficiently.
• Management of Petty Cash, Patient Activity Money and access to patient cash.
• Support various departments with financial processing, including raising Purchase Orders.
• Manage queries regarding financial processing and support with implementing any changes to policy and procedure across site.
• Ensure there is cover for staff responsible for financial processing across site for annual leave and sickness. 
• Provide central finance team with information on budgets.
• Assist with the creation and improvement of processes and innovations.
• Ensure all payments are processed within timescales.
• Responsible for administrating the Client Fund Account, liaising with patient appointees. 
• Process patient transport billing.
The post holder will have:

• Ability to understand and analyse an issue or problem and to develop and suggest corrective actions
• Good interpersonal skills and team player
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Decision making, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams) 
• Organisational skills
