Job Advert Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join the team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Career & Apprenticeships Manager, the Learning and Development Coordinator will be responsible for providing coordinated and customer centred support to the business ensuring organisation and oversight of Learning and Development applications, systems for CPDs and Apprenticeships. The Learning and Development Coordinator will also be responsible for supporting the LMS manager with projects and maintenance of the LMS System, as well as dealing with the processing of invoices and payments for training provision.


Learning and Development Coordinator duties include but are not limited to

 

  • Coordinate the processing of apprenticeship and short course applications through appropriate training providers for all UK sites
  • Responsibility and oversight for making amendments or additions to the Learning Management System (Academy) and the Digital Apprenticeship Funding account (DAS)
  • Utilise the LMS to apply updates to learning such as site/colleague exemptions, assigned training and learning records as and when requested
  • Oversight of the apprenticeship mailbox and phone line answering queries as and when applicable
  • Monitor enrolment statuses of all apprenticeship and short course applications and notify applicants accordingly

What we would like from the Learning and Development Coordinator

 

  • Administration experience within a human resource or training department. Good levels of analysis as well as being comfortable in dynamic fast moving teams where change is the one constant.
  • Experience and understanding of apprenticeship programmes would be ideal as well as experience in the use of different software systems
  • . Educated to A level or equivalent (especially English and Maths)
  • A keen eye for detail, with a broad and current understanding of IT as well as modern software platforms.
