The Role:

Assist the Nursing & Occupational Therapy teams to deliver an interesting and varied program of daily activities, entertainment and events, promoting wellbeing of the residents and enhancing quality of life, We are looking for a cheerful and  outgoing individual with a creative flair.  No experience as an activities co-ordinator is required but a positive, enthusiastic attitude is a must.

The hospital provides a 38 bed rehabilitation service for adults with enduring mental health and physical health needs

We are looking for a full-time permanent Activities Organiser/Driver who can transport our patients to a variety of different activities, ensuring that the journey is completed in a safe and timely manner, Drives staff and other visitors to/from the unit as required by the line manager and ensures the hospital vehicles are cleaned regularly and that any damage or faults are identified and dealt with immediately.

Candidates should be motivated and enthusiastic. We are looking at a ‘people person’ to join our close and committed team. Previous experience working in a similar environment would be an advantage, although is not essential.
