We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant in Lyndhurst with the passion, enthusiasm and drive to support our young people in achieving their potential.

At Coxlease School, Lyndhurst, you will be part of a dedicated and lively team that focuses strongly on the core areas of education, independence and inclusion.

As a core support specialist, you will directly assist the key stage 4 subject leads to support pupils to achieve in English / Maths. This role will require an individual who can help with planning lessons/programmes of study, co-ordinating interventions and recording and delivering feedback.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with children and young people
  • Specific interest in English and/or Maths as a subject specialism
  • Gained a good pass or higher at GCSE English and/or Maths
  • Passion, enthusiasm and excellent communications skills
  • High levels of self-motivation
  • Able to show patience and understanding in difficult situations
  • Positive role model who believes in helping our young people flourish.
