Job Advert Role Description

Due to this expansion we are looking for the prominent post of Lead Practitioner to assist with the management of day to day operations within our services. Fundamental to your role will be the engagement in, and management of, each child’s plan and ensuring these plans are managed with the highest standards of care and professionalism.

 The Lead Practitioner will:

  • Work alongside the Residential Services Manager to instil our team with the vision and values and ensure the organisation continues to achieve its desired quality standards.
  • Build relationships with the children and young people and be a driving force in their journey towards achieving positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrate and evidence their competence and capacity in relation to their personal and organisational competence and capabilities within the management structure of Aspris Children’s Services in Scotland.
  • Ensure that staff employed within the service uphold in their practice and values the 5 Principles of the Health and Social Care Standards, My support, my life.
  • Support with the leadership and management of both employees and resources to ensure that the services aims, culture and ethos are maintained and developed.
  • Engage in activities that will promote the continuous improvement of the quality of experiences and outcomes for service users by supporting the staff who are delivering the service to be the best that they can be.
  • Required to in the absence of Senior Practitioners to manage both employees and resources to ensure high standards of service are achieved within the provision.

The successful candidate will be fully SSSC registered and hold the relevant qualifications at degree level or managerial level.
