We require an administrator to join a busy and professional administration team. You will be a highly skilled, proficient in the use of Microsoft office, excel & word. Be solution focused member of the team, and be able to prioritise competing deadlines in a professional manner.

The successful candidate will join an established team of education, care and specialist therapy professionals working together to support student progress and will receive a bespoke induction package.

Unsted Park School is a specialist residential and day school/6th form college for children and young people with high functioning Autistic Spectrum Condition (or Aspergers).  We are committed to providing the highest level of education and care in a safe, positive environment that enables each individual to achieve his or her maximum potential.

The focus of the whole school approach is in three core areas: education, independence and inclusion. Based on these core areas we provide individual, child-centred programmes which recognise individual abilities and strengths and help students to reach their full potential. 

Unsted park School is looking to recruit a Referrals Coordinator to work in a small school support services team. Previous experience of working within an educational setting would be highly desirable but not essential.  The role holder will be responsible for all Referral support functions including team admin, as well as fielding issues and enquiries from a range of sources including parents, funding bodies, associated professionals and staff members.  The applicant would be used to working to deadlines as there is a necessity of statutory turn round times - working holidays will be part of the role.

The role holder will be expected to undergo in-house training in a range of areas including Child Protection, Physical Intervention, Behavioural Management, Fire Prevention and Health & Safety at work and other specialist training related to the location as well as relevant CPD, as well as the Priory systems.

Knowledge & Skills

The role holder should be educated with a high level of English and numeracy. The role holder should also possess excellent keyboard and PC skills including Word and Excel. The role holder will have exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills and an empathetic and diplomatic manner.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a disclosure at the enhanced level from the Disbarring & Disclosure Service.
