Clay Hill School is seeking to recruit an outstanding Therapeutic practioner who will deliver a range of therapies to our young people and will also line manage the therapy assistant and direct them them in delivering lower level interventions.

This individual will work within our Therapy team which contains an Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist. They would be line managed and supported by the School SENDCO/Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion.

Many of our learners have experienced trauma from previous educational experiences or home backgrounds as well as have associated co-morbidities such as anxiety and depression, linked with their ASC needs. Therefore, we require the expertise and knowledge of a trained therapist who will be able to provide the specialist clinical input that will meet the needs of our diverse cohort.

In addition, our Therapy team work closely with our parents to support their needs. We have a Pastoral Support worker employed to provide family support and lower level interventions to our young people who you would be responsible for line managing.
