85 Brecon rd is a community residential home providing step down care for female service users suffering from complex mental illness.

Our service uses a holistic and person centred approach with support from local community teams. Service users are encouraged to make choices and work towards independence. The team work in collaboration with the service user, care co-ordinators and the commissioning team to deliver a package of care that is realistic and specific to the individual’s needs. Our focus of care is to help service users to gain confidence and build independence in order to improve their quality. 

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Health Care Assistants to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.

You will provide the highest standard of person centred support and care to the people who use our service, maintaining dignity and respect, enabling them to lead as independent lives as possible and realise their potential whilst  ensuring own actions and behaviour comply with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards. Please note this post will be predominantly nights.
