An established and well maintained children's home has an opportunity for a Deputy Registered Manager to help the Registered Manager to implement effective care and independence programmes.

This will include:

  • Driving continuous improvement, making effective use of assessment methods and working with staff to deliver excellent standards of care that comply with all relevant regulatory, governance and quality standards.

Required:

  • Experience of managing teams
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • At least a QCF 3 Children and Young People.

Linden House children’s home is a registered home for up to seven young people aged 11 to 18 who have learning disabilities, which may include autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and complex associated difficulties. Young people over this age may be deemed appropriate to remain in the home if it is their best interests and to support their continued education. This home is open 52 weeks per year.

We believe Linden House Children’s Home is a very special home for children and young people where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.

Linden House accomodates children and young people with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe autism with moderate challenging behaviour and associated conditions.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our schools.
