We currently have a vacancy for an additional Therapy Assistant to join our multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified and interested in this extremely rewarding area of work.

You will provide support across our school and it's children's homes. Working hours will be used flexibly to provide support to all of our young people who require it and in the relevant setting - 37.5 hours per week and 38 weeks per year. 

The role will primarily be supporting therapists in the delivery of therapeutic programmes, taking sessions with the young people under the guidance of qualified therapists and any other tasks to support in the day to day running of the team.

We require:

  • A good level of both written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of sensory needs is desirable.
  • Experience of working with young people with complex special needs would be beneficial.

Within our services we are proud of our reputation for delivering quality education and care services with positive outcomes for children and young people aged 4 to 19 who have experienced difficulties in their previous education placements.

Tadley Court school is set in a beautiful semi rural location with four acres of well maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

We offer a safe, structured and predictable environment where students can develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible allowing them to make real life choices as they approach and reach adulthood.
