Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital.  We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders.

We are looking for a clinical/counselling Psychologist to work within our Eating Disorder Inpatient Unit.  This unit caters for high acuity eating disorder patients from throughout the UK.

The role includes managing a caseload, working with patients both individually and in a group setting, and attending MDT meetings, family meetings and case conferences. Previous experience of working with eating disorders and/or personality disorders is desirable but not essential.  The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is of key importance.

You must be registered with HCPC.

As an independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital we can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment and in-house training opportunities are provided for staff at all levels.
