Rugeley - The Crescent, is a residential children's home in a rural location, catering for young people from ages 12-19 with autism, challenging behaviour and associated learning disabilities.

A Senior Support Worker is required to work at our The Crescent residence. 

  • You must have or be working towards Diploma Level 3 H&SC or equivalent and training must be up to date (if an internal applicant).

You will:

  • Supervise a specific team and group of students on specific shifts. 
  • Supervise the effective implementation of learning programmes.
  • Be responsible for dealing with issues and incidents on shift and support staff on to maintain effective relations with external agencies.

This is a physically demanding role and staff will also need to have the confidence to deal with the challenging behaviours that autism can present.
