We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator (IT) to join the team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Programme Manager, the Project Co-ordinator (IT) will be play a major part in the implementation of the IT work stream for estates development projects and general IT projects such as Wi-Fi upgrades which are critical to the delivery of both growth and improved performance

This role is based at our Bristol Offices.

Project Co-ordinator duties include but are not limited to:

  • To have a working knowledge of effective project management methods.
  • Ability to understand the technology being used (IT, networking, infrastructure, comms and telephony) working with the project team to develop the best solutions for the business.
  • Control changes to requirements and liaise with Project Teams to assess the impact to scope and project timescales/deliverables.
  • Liaising with technical leads, 3rd party suppliers to develop functionality and issue resolution.
  • Taking responsibility for progress and use of IT resources, initiating corrective action where necessary.  Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that the scope and deliverables are fully agreed.
  • Be able to progress IT solutions through their lifecycle as efficiently as possible without creating risk to the business to ensure that business objectives and success factors are met in a timely manner
  • Working to short and medium term objectives, the role holder will need to make decisions consulting with the Head of IT Systems and Security as and when necessary.

What we would like from the Project Co-ordinator:

  • Experience of working in a projects environment across a broad range of business areas. 
  • Experience of system upgrades and infrastructure projects on a corporate level eg. Wi fi implementation
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products. Extremely proficient in all types of hardware platforms.  Proven ability to work to tight timescales and work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills.
