Job Advert Location Description

Kent House is a Low Secure Mental Health Hospital for young women 12 to 18 years of age who are detained under the Mental Health Act. It also has an attached school dedicated to support the young people with all aspects of education.

The service, on the outskirts of Orpington, has close links and transport to the local community and amenities.

We provide compassionate care for the young women admitted in a supportive environment adhering to the principles of Positive Behaviour Support, underpinned by thorough risk assessment and management. We are members of the Royal College of Psychiatry Quality Network for CAMHS

Job Advert Role Description

WE ARE LOOKING FOR TALENTED PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!

We are looking for a Psychologist to join our MDT. It is desirable that have skills and experience in at least one of the following areas: CBT, DBT, schema based therapy and systemic practice. You will also have experience of working with young people with complex needs. Familiarity with ASD, PTSD and emotional dis-regulation would be advantageous. The successful candidate will have an expected caseload of up to 12.

We will offer a competitive salary, comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training. Supervision will be offered by the consultant clinical psychologist (therapies lead).
