A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Hospital Director to join us at Burston House. Based in the pretty village of Burston in South Norfolk, close to the market town of Diss, the strength of Burston House lies in the quality of the comprehensive assessment, treatment and care it provides. The emphasis is on a holistic and individualised approach delivered by multidisciplinary teams who are skilled, experienced professionals trained in their specific field. Burston House provides quality, specialised treatment for adults with learning disabilities where their needs challenge mainstream service provision in  low secure services.

 

Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for the operational management and lead the overall function of the Hospital, including full P&L accountability. You will take responsibility for effectively implementing hospital policies and procedures to enable the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of patient care and employee engagement. This role offers plenty of variety and everyday will be different but some duties will include:

 

Leading the Senior Management team on site on all aspects of day to day business.

Leading and developing a culture where the very highest standards of safety, quality and excellent patient care are consistently delivered.

Developing and maintaining strategic external relationships

Driving recruitment and retention plans on site

Reviewing any audit or inspections reports ensuring compliance with all statutory regulatory bodies
