To get you off to the best start with Aspris, we will also be offering a £1000 bonus! This will be £500 when you first start, and a following £500 once you have passed your probation (this will be pro rata for part time staff)*


We are currently recruiting for Waking Night Residential Support Workers to join their family at Arden Care & College part of the Priory Education & Children’s Services.

Located in the heart of Southport on the west coast of Lancashire, the college offers extensive learning and work experience opportunities within the local community, with the aim of increasing independence and employability skills for our pupils.

This position is to work 38 hours per week, 4 x 22.00pm start 07.30am finish (minimum one weekend shift)

The main duties of this role are:

  • To ensure residents' safety during the night
  • Making regular checks when residents are asleep and offering support as required if they are awake
  • Administering medication as required
  • Keeping accurate records of any events and support delivered during the shift
  • Carrying out household duties such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintaining effective communication with day staff, House Manager and On Call Manager as required
  • Address and report any Health and Safety or Safeguarding concerns immediately as per company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up to date training compliance.

Arden College is a specialist residential college, providing specialist support and care for young people aged 16 to 25 with learning difficulties, including communication difficulties and/or behavioural support needs.

With a dedicated team of staff, we aim to provide every young person with an individually tailored programme of education, care, work experience, leisure and life skills and training within the community, enabling them to live as independently as possible and make their own life choices.

Our aim is to create a safe, secure and independent living environment where our young adults have a sense of belonging and a sense of ownership for their home. We are looking for residential support workers who will support our young people to develop the confidence and skills they need for the next stage of their lives.
