The working hours are 37.5 hours per week and 38 weeks per year, you will provide support across our school and it's children's homes.Working hours will be used flexibly to provide support to all of our young people who require it and in the relevant setting.

This role will involve the management of referred children and young people using evidence based and person centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which provide children and young people with the confidence, skills and coping strategies required for independent living. Knowledge of sensory needs is desirable.

About the school:

Tadley Court school is set in a beautiful semi rural location with four acres of well maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 5 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

We offer a safe, structured and predictable environment where students can develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible allowing them to make real life choices as they approach and reach adulthood.

To succeed we need people who share our passion for making a difference and ideally (though not essentially as training will be given) have previous experience of autism.

Aspris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.  All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service.

What do you get in return?

  • A generous salary
  • Being part of a company that invests in you and your team for personal and professional development
  • Reward and discount schemes
  • Pension
  • Enhanced DBS fee paid
  • Access to a holiday package
  • Cycle to work scheme
