We have a vacancy for a Household Cleaner to join our existing Household team. This position will cover both our main school based in Lyndhurst and our Children's Homes in our Southampton area.

Lyndhurst is composed of several schools and education provisions and the subsequent residential homes. Our main campus is based in Lyndhurst and we offer a unique integration of education, care and therapy to young people aged 5 to 19 with complex needs. 

We are looking for a household cleaner to maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the School and Children’s Residential Homes, in line with operational standards and ensuring that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

The hours are 6:00am until 14:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 6:00am until 9:00am Friday, this totals 35 hours a week.  A job share would be a possibility.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure that Aspris minimum standards are delivered across the home in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team
  • Identify and report damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
  • Previous cleaning experience is an advantage however full training will be provided.

The candidate would need to be a driver and fuel expenses would be covered.
