Job Advert Role Description

Aspris Children’s Services (an independent company which was formally Priory Education and Children’s Services) is one of the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist care and education for a reason. We are seeking Assistant House Managers for our residential children's homes located in Ribbleton and Lostock Hall.

Under the direction of the Registered House Manager, you will take lead on the following:

  • Effectively lead the team of support workers and enable the delivery of care and education to all the students and young people
  • Guide and manage the team and ensure that the service complies with local procedures and corporate policy, statutory regulations and quality standards
  • Provide residential care for boys and girls aged 6 to 19 who have mild, moderate and severe autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex learning needs and challenging behaviour. 
  • Assisting our young people with their daily lives.  This could be in the form of helping the young person to School, accompanying them to take part in an activity or simply assisting them in completion of general daily tasks, including morning and night time routines.

  • NVQ Diploma Level 3 Caring for children and young people and relevant experience in a children's residential setting is essential

From 1st September 2021 our salaries will be increasing to £22,795.50 per annum (£11.69 per hour)
