Conquest Lodge (formerly part of Craegmoor) is a community resource providing assessment and support for up to 19 adults living with either a primary learning disability diagnosis and possible complex conditions, or complex mental health support needs.

Some individuals also have difficulty with communication or present behaviours that challenge, as well as a range of other conditions such as epilepsy or Down’s Syndrome. Some of the individuals with mental health issues may self-harm and have complex personality disorders, depression, bipolar disorder or other conditions that they need support with.

We are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to provide 24/7 specialist residential support for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities and individuals with epilepsy, tuberous sclerosis, cerebral palsy, along with individuals who are deaf or who have visual impairments at Priory Adult Care’s Conquest Lodge in March, Cambridgeshire.

Both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the Senior Support Worker role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.

Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial.
