Job Advert Location Description

Ready for the recognition and rewards you deserve?

We don’t just talk about putting employees first. We know that Priory wouldn’t exist without their combined energy, expertise and effort.  So we invest heavily in training, provide first-class support, promote collaborative teamwork and give everyone on our team the opportunities and resources to achieve their full potential.

For those who have completed a residential Addiction Treatment Programme, the transition back into daily life can be daunting.

The Elphis provides the perfect setting to support you during this transition. We offer ongoing, evidence-based therapy to reinforce the skills and knowledge you have developed during your initial addiction treatment and help you re-build the confidence and skills to tackle daily tasks that others may take for granted. This is delivered in a comfortable and safe setting, enabling you to focus on your continued recovery.

Our comprehensive programme is delivered by highly trained specialists to assist your continued recovery. Through our approach, we will provide support whilst you reintegrate back into day-to-day life, and empower you to turn your hopes for a better future, into reality.

Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking for a bank Therapist to join our Addiction Therapy Programme team, providing an abstinence based 12-step treatment programme to in-patients, day-patients and out-patients.

The role holder will need to be confident in communicating with the multi-disciplinary team, attending ward handovers and ward rounds, presenting to Consultants and GP seminars, assessing clients for the programme and working with clients on an individual basis.

Candidates will be qualified (or working towards qualification) as an Addiction Counsellor or equivalent, and have experience in the facilitation of group and individual therapy within the addiction field. FDAP membership or evidence of working towards this is essential, along with a passion for the 12-step recovery programme and abstinence. Training in motivational interviewing would be an advantage.
