Job Advert Location Description

Priory Woking provides private acute mental health, addictions and eating disorder services (inpatients and day patients), and run extensive private outpatient clinics. Some private beds are used by the NHS at times when no beds are available within the NHS trust.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a receptionist for Friday mornings/afternoon rotation and Saturday mornings. Shifts are for 5 hours 15 minutes.  There is also capacity to cover other shifts during annual leave.

Ideally we are looking for someone confident with computers and there will be some small work with Word and Excel, Outlook emails and Calendar/Room bookings, although training will be given.  Further training for the Healthcare Industry is also given, mostly on line, but some classroom sessions too.

You will be meeting and greeting potential patients and their families on behalf the hospital and you will be with them through their journey of recovery.

At times, this is can be a very busy role, so this position would ideally suit someone who is able to prioritise and stay calm during these times.

You will need to be confident speaking with people on the phone enquiring about treatment at the hospital, demonstrating good levels of empathy.
