Linden House is a detached bungalow situated in a pleasant, rural location with picturesque views and open fields; it is steeped in history, particularly the civil war. Situated close to the village of Old Basing it has excellent national transport links and offers it's residence the opportunity to access community activities and facilities. The home is set in a semi-rural location within four acres of beautifully mature grounds.

As a Shift Leader you will lead your assigned shift taking responsibility for a small team of staff and a group of young people to ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic wellbeing.

This is a 52 week post, working 37.5 hours per week. You will work in the residential setting and must be prepared to work on a shift system including early, late and weekend shifts. 

In addition a responsibility allowance of £500 will be assigned to you.

  • Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
