The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has a specialist Eating Disorders unit. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon, and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

Job Advert Role Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to work with patients admitted to our busy adult Eating Disorders Unit inpatient service.

The unit is made up of two separate wards to cater for patients who are acutely unwell, through to patients who are progressing through their treatment and transitioning back into the community. The unit is staffed by a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) consisting of two Consultant Psychiatrists, a range of Staff Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, as well as a Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Art Psychotherapist, and Occupational Therapists.

This is a permanent part-time position, which will require the post holder to provide a systemic family therapy service to the patients receiving inpatient care and their families. This will involve providing specialist systemic assessment and intervention for patients and their families and the successful candidate will also attend or contribute to ward rounds, CPAs, and MDT assessments, formulations, and care planning.
