Job Advert Location Description

Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with very good transport links. The site provides services in both a forensic setting (male medium secure & low secure) and acute services (mixed sex). The hospital can cater for up to 53 patients at one time across four wards.

Benefits of working on site includes free and secure parking, excellent transport links to Central London (via the Overground which is one minute walk from the site) as well excellent links to the M25 via the A10. Job Advert Role Description


  • Undertake secretarial duties for two Consultants.
  • File paperwork in the correct part of patient’s folder.
  • Ensure patient records are kept up to date by working with the nursing team.
  • Support the medical team with correspondence concerning patient care.
  • Attend ward rounds, CPAs and other Professionals meetings.
  • Take minutes of hospital meetings.
  • Support other departments in the hospital as and when that's needed.


  • Excellent computer and Microsoft office skills.
  • An understanding of medical terminology is desirable but not essential.
  • Passionate about providing a high quality service to the hospital.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Detail oriented and excellent attention to detail
  • A team player
  • A high level of confidentiality and integrity required.
