Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to carry out general cleaning duties.  This role is to work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the school and to ensure that it is a safe and comfortable environment at all times for our students, staff and guests. There will be in house training as well as e-learning modules to complete as part of your training for the role.

The ideal person will need to be flexible and hours will be worked over 5 days a week, preferably first thing in the morning from 6.30am. You may also be requested to work at our other site at Quay View School in Bere Alston as the needs of the service dictate.

Devon Children's Services specialises in high quality residential and educational provisions for children between 7-18 who may have SEMH and /or Autism. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our young people who may have experienced challenges in their lives is always paramount; along with encouragement to achieve their full potential.
