Job Advert Location Description

Priory Hospital Arnold, near Nottingham, provides acute and psychiatric intensive care services to those in need across Nottinghamshire. We work closely with referring Trusts to achieve minimum lengths of stay, and are able to provide an extension to NHS care pathways during times of fluctuating demand. The service offers a multidisciplinary team approach, working collaboratively to support patients through periods of crisis. The hospital comprises of 4 wards, 2 Acute wards and 2 PICU wards with a total of 52 inpatient beds.

Job Advert Role Description

Manages and is responsible for the operation of support services for the unit including the catering, housekeeping, maintenance, administration and reception functions. The post holder is a member of the hospital’s Senior Management Team.

Knowledge / Education / Skills 
• Relevant professional qualification, which is accredited by a recognised institute. 
• Experience in project management, ideally with a qualification 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
• Good organisation and time management 
• Comfortable working within tight deadlines 
• Ability to handle ambiguity
• First class customer service skills 

Experience 
• Experience in a similar role within Healthcare or Hospitality 
• Proven experience as a leader with experience of managing diverse teams 
• Experience of effectively managing and working within budgets 
• Ideally experience of working in a matrix environment
