Job Advert Role Description

Safety and quality is at the heart of everything we do for our patients at Priory Hospital Lincolnshire  We are a site with 28 beds across two 14-bed wards.  We specialise in male patients who need conditions of low security in which to recover, and from where they can re-enter the community.  We strive at all times to provide care in the least restrictive manner, to maximise our patients’ independence, to empower and involve our patients and their carers in their care, and to maintain the highest standards of dignity and respect for our patients and their carers.

We are seeking a weekend Housekeeper to provide general cleaning duties to both wards, working 7.5hrs on a Saturday and Sunday. 

Main Purpose

Required to deliver an efficient and high quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the home to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our residents.

Responsibilities 

  • Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the home, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.  
  • Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all home areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team. 
  • Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or home manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
  • Adopt new services that are already introduced within the group. 
  • To use equipment efficiently, in order to gain a greater value for money.  

Knowledge/Skills

  • The role holder will have a good standard of English along with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • No previous experience required as training will be provided.
