Specialist OCD CBT Therapist

Priory North London, in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands. It is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a wide range of mental health difficulties including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Since North London first opened its doors in 1986, we have worked tirelessly to establish our excellent reputation as a specialist provider of mental health care. We are able to offer fast access to expert treatment for adults and young people between the ages of 12 and 18.

The role:

This role is for a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who has experience of working with complex obsessional disorders. This role is working alongside Dr Himanshu Tyagi, a world leading specialist Consultant Psychiatrist in OCD and Medical Psychotherapist. The team is one of only two specialist teams in the UK providing this inpatient OCD treatment.

The successful candidate will work directly with inpatients providing evidence based therapeutic interventions, group and one to one, including ERP within the hospital and community.

This role will be working within our specialist OCD service, so would work well for a CBT therapist who has additional training or an interest in working with OCD
