Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for Senior Support Workers to join our team who are passionate, professional and dedicated employees to work with children and young adults with autistic spectrum disorders and challenging behaviour.

We have opportunities available within our children's home in Haighton.

From 1st September 2021 our salaries will be increasing to £19,734.00 per annum (£10.12 per hour).

The successful candidate must have or be working towards a Diploma Level 3 in H&SC or equivalent.

Our Senior Support Workers supervise a specific team and group of young people on specific shifts as well as supervising the effective implementation of learning programmes.  You will also be responsible for dealing with issues and incidents on shift and support staff on to maintain effective relations with external agencies.

This is a physically demanding role and staff will also need to have the confidence to deal with the challenging behaviours that autism can present.
