Job Advert Role Description

Ty Catrin is a low secure mental illness and personality disorder service for males and females who require a medium-term placement and recovery-orientated specialist treatment in order to progress on their care pathway towards rehabilitation care.

We are currently recruiting for a part time clinical  / forensic psychologist for our Low Secure Hospital based in Cardiff, South Wales.

The Hospital boasts a Multi-disciplinary Team with the Psychology Department working collaboratively with colleagues from Psychiatry, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Social Work to provide high quality care and treatment. 

You will be an experienced Clinical/Forensic Psychologist who can lead in assessments and formulation to help determine the treatment needs of individual service users. Ideally you will have experience of working in secure environments and with complex challenging behaviours.

We are looking for applicants with a creative and compassionate approach, with the enthusiasm for improving the quality of life of our patients.
