The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital.  We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders.

Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for a HCPC registered Dietician to work within our Eating Disorder Inpatient Unit.

The role includes managing working with patients both individually and in a group setting, meal planning and support, attending MDT meetings, family meetings and contributing to discharge planning process. Previous experience of working with eating disorders and mental health setting is desirable but not essential.  We are looking for an individual with a range of transferrable skills, who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about working with this client group .

The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team (including clinical psychologist, therapists, nurses, dietitians, psychiatrists, occupational therapists) is of key importance, as well as independently managing clinical duties as part of the dietetic team department. 

As an independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital we can offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment and in-house training opportunities are provided for staff at all levels.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for PVG Scheme Membership from Disclosure Scotland.  Please provide your HCPC registration number with your application, as this is an essential requirement for the role. Further information can be obtained from
