About the role:

Priory Hospital Barnt Green are looking for a clinically trained Ward Manager (RMN’s and RNLD’s) to work across our PICU and Private wards.  Nursing in mental health has never been more challenging as we continue to provide the highest quality care in a COVID-secure and safe way, as a Ward Manager you will take a leading role in guiding others to maintain quality care safely.

Your previous experience as a Staff Nurse and Senior Staff Nurse, combined with your experience as a clinical leader will help you as you lead and manage others to guide patients as they progress on their individual treatment journeys. The hospital operates a recovery focussed and trauma-informed approach so as to provide support that helps people achieve their goals taking into account their life experiences.

This is more than a job, it’s a vocation. You will lead a team of dedicated and supportive colleagues who share this same passion to help others. We welcome people from all backgrounds and value the contribution that your life experience, culture and world view can bring.

As a Ward Manager with Priory Group, you will receive full training, support and guidance to enable you to provide high quality care. You will be offered the opportunity to develop further enabling you to progress further in your career if you choose to do so. As part of this you will need to complete our bespoke training, including prevention & management of violence and aggression training (PMVA). You will also need to complete an enhanced DBS check (it’s worth remembering that a “positive disclosure” such as a criminal record will not automatically exclude you from working with us but it is highly recommended that you talk to us about anything you think may be disclosed as early as possible).
