Barnt Green

Barnt Green is a brand new service is located less than two miles from M5 junction 4, about 10 miles South West of Birmingham City Centre with great transport links to the wider West Midlands area.

Set in an idyllic location close to a local beauty spot, recent considerable investment in the site has resulted in high quality, excellent facilities and a bespoke environment.

The mix of services offered at the hospital (acute, private, PICU) affords the opportunity to experience a variety of different types of nursing on one site. The nature of the services provided means there are strong links with other regional Priory sites. A supportive leadership team manages the small multidisciplinary teams and a comprehensive induction to the ward, site and company is ensured. There are ample opportunities to progress within the wider company.


Job Profile

Will be a highly visible  role model, Leader and Senior Member of the Team
Experienced in rota management  and staffing
Passionate about promoting the highest standards of care
Committed to providing individualised care for patients in terms of both mental and physical health.
Supports Junior staff in terms of supervision, continuous  professional development and career development
Experienced in recruitment and retention


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities

Excellent Leadership  and Management Skills
Clinical experience within a Multi-disciplinary team
Good communicator within all situations
Experienced  in leading a team
Able to focus on staffing and develop staff to meets the needs of the ward
Experience of supporting students
Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and Statutory requirements
Experience of investigations, complaints and report writing
